Because the pace of technology far surpasses the law on the books, innovative arguments and new applications of the law are constantly advancing in the IP field. The Intellectual Property Association is more than a student club. The IPA is an organization that helps educate and inform students who are interested in this most exciting and ever changing field of law.
What the IPA is all about:
The Intellectual Property Association’s main goal is to provide students with a connection to attorneys practicing intellectual property law, so students may better position themselves for careers in that area. In addition, the IPA strives to keep students informed about emerging legal topics by hosting guest lectures, sponsoring moot court teams, and by making other valuable resources available.
As a member you will meet IP attorneys and fellow students with an interest in IP law. You will have access to outlines and a mentoring program to help answer your questions about the IP field, finding summer jobs, and how to survive the rigors of law school.
Become a member of the IPA and join the excitement!
IPA has a mailing list with announcements regarding the Association and IP-related events on- and off-campus; the list is open to both members and non-members.
